Jaw-Dropping Facts On the Universe, Stars, and Even Our Own Bodies
Fact Number One: The Incredible Beauty and Vastness Of Our Universe
![Star](/uploads/1/8/6/3/18639772/707944.jpg?331)
We are given glances into God's grandeur when we stare out into the universe. Stars and nebulas and pulsars and galaxies all beautifully and intricately created by Him. However, contemplating the vastness of God can make it harder to wrap our minds around His grace. How can it be that a God this big, this creative, this imaginative, would stoop down, take the form of a man, and die a humiliating death on a cross? Could the One who made the stars also offer me grace?
Verses:
Psalms 33:6 - "By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth."
Isaiah 440:26 - "Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing."
Psalms 147:4 - "He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name."
Psalms 8:1/3-4 - "1. Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens.
3. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
4. what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?"

Fact Number Two: Laminin

Laminin is vital to making sure overall body structures hold together. Improper production of laminin can cause muscles to form improperly, leading to a form of muscular dystrophy.
Now what is truly amazing is what the function of this little molecule is; laminin is responsible for holding all of our body structures together. Basically, it is the rebar of our body.
But what is most amazing is actually what laminin looks like, or the sight of it.
Many will say this is just a coincidence, but think of it this way; the very molecule that holds our body together is in the shape of a cross. The cross, the very place Jesus died in the act that truly holds us together.

Fact Number Three: The "God Particle"

A proposed image of the Higgs boson, A.K.A the "God particle".
The "God particle" is the nickname of a subatomic particle called the Higgs boson. In layman’s terms, different subatomic particles are responsible for giving matter different properties. One of the most mysterious and important properties is mass. Some particles, like protons and neutrons, have mass. Others, like photons, do not. The Higgs boson, or “God particle,” is believed to be the particle which gives mass to matter.
As with any scientific discovery, God’s amazing creation becomes more and more impressive as we learn more about it. Either result—that the Higgs boson exists, or does not exist—represents a step forward in human knowledge and another step forward in our appreciation of God’s awe-inspiring universe. Whether or not there is a “God particle,” we know this about Christ: “For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible . . . all things were created by him and for him” (Colossians 1:16).
